    Absolutely. Our program is designed to bring value to experienced olive oil experts and sommeliers, expanding their knowledge through advanced techniques, rare cultivars and terroirs, and active consumer presentations. We also incorporate the latest industry insights to offer an unparalleled opportunity for sommeliers to refine and update their expertise.
  • I’m a beginner. Is this course right for me?
    Yes. For newcomers without significant prior experience or olive oil sommelier training, we offer an introductory module at no extra cost. This module is designed to fast-track participants, bridging the knowledge gap and ensuring they are well-prepared to fully engage in the course. The curriculum remains accessible to all, yet still provides in-depth lessons. Our instructors offer step-by-step guidance to help you build a strong foundation.
  • Are there any prerequisites?
    No formal prerequisites are required. Simply bring your enthusiasm for learning and a passion for olive oil. We’ll provide all the resources you need during the course.
  • Is the course accredited?
    Our program follows rigorous educational standards and is accredited by CPD to ensure recognized quality and learning outcomes. We also provide a recognized certificate of completion.
  • Where is the course located?
    The course will be held in a sunlit, easily accessible classroom space at the prestigious NEW Hotel in Athens, specially arranged for this event.

  • How many oils will we taste?
    You can expect to taste a broad selection of common and rare varieties, covering producers from both the old and new worlds. This allows you to compare various flavor profiles and appreciate the nuances of different terroirs and production methods.
  • Are lodging options available?
    Yes. We recommend the NEW Hotel as well as nearby hotels and guesthouses that offer special rates for our participants. A detailed list will be provided upon registration. Please contact us for more information.
  • What is the cost, and what are the payment options?
    The course fee is EUR 2'600 payable via bank transfer. More details will be provided upon registration. Please contact us for additional information.
  • What is included in the tuition?
    Tuition covers all course materials, olive oil samples for tasting, and a chef-curated lunch each day of the course. It also includes: Participation in the Future of Olive Oil Summit (FOOS) Knowledge & Networking Event A certificate of completion A curated welcome dinner on Monday evening A cocktail Networking FOOS dinner A field visit (with necessary transportation)
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    A full refund will be returned to the original form of payment if you cancel before September 1, 2025. If we must cancel the course, you will receive a full refund. If the course is rescheduled or postponed, you can maintain your enrollment or receive a full refund. Cancellations after September 1, 2025, are non-refundable.
